An international seminar series on company regulation, run by scholars in the UK and New Zealand.

About the series

The Global Corporate Law Seminar Series brings together those exploring company regulation from around the globe. Papers consider any aspect of company, commercial and/or financial law which speaks to a debate of global commercial importance. The series operates virtually, with seminars held over morning tea or lunch. To encourage open discussion of topics that can be politically sensitive in some jurisdictions, and to protect participants' privacy, meetings are not recorded.

    Queen's University Belfast

    Reader in Commercial Law and Associate Dean of Education in the School of Law. Her work examines contract, commercial and corporate law from transnational, comparative and historical perspectives, and she co-edits the journal Business History.

    University of Edinburgh

    Works in international commercial law, drawing on a decade in private practice as a solicitor. He writes across a wide range of commercial matters, with particular expertise in rights in security and company law.

    London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE)

    Professor of Law at LSE, where her research spans corporate and comparative law with a sustained focus on intermediated securities and holding and transfer systems. She sits on the management committee of the LSE Systemic Risk Centre.

    Vice-Chancellor of Birkbeck, University of London. A scholar of company law, corporate social responsibility and contract, she was previously Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Law at the Australian National University.
